Queen Creek AZ Homes for Sale & Living in Queen Creek
Queen Creek still feels like a small town, with farms, wide-open skies and room for horses, while new neighborhoods, shops and parks keep growing around it. Here's what to know before you buy.

Hi, I'm Vanessa Stewart
Queen Creek is one of my three home markets. I help buyers sort out newer master-planned communities, resale homes and properties with acreage, and I help sellers price against all the new-build competition in town.
Small-town roots, big-time growth
Queen Creek sits at the southeast edge of the Phoenix metro and spans parts of both Maricopa and Pinal counties. It grew up around citrus groves and farms, and that agricultural heritage still shows in places like Schnepf Farms and the Queen Creek Olive Mill.
Today you'll find everything from brand-new master-planned neighborhoods to custom homes on acre-plus lots in the town's rural and equestrian areas. That range is the big draw, and also why pricing varies so much block to block.
Comparing towns? Many of my buyers look at Queen Creek alongside Gilbert and San Tan Valley. My side-by-side comparison lays out the differences.
What makes Queen Creek different
These are the things buyers ask me about most when they're deciding on Queen Creek.
Agritourism & local farms
Schnepf Farms and the Queen Creek Olive Mill bring festivals, u-pick seasons and farm-to-table food to town.
Horseshoe Park & Equestrian Centre
A town-owned equestrian venue that hosts shows and events, and a big reason horse owners look here.
Room to spread out
Rural and equestrian pockets offer larger lots, RV gates and space for workshops or animals, subject to zoning.
Newer master-planned communities
Neighborhoods with parks, pools and trails, many built in the last two decades, sit next to active new-build phases.
Queen Creek Wash trail
A multi-use path along the wash connects neighborhoods and parks for walking, biking and running.
Mansel Carter Oasis Park
A large town park with a lake, playgrounds and sports fields, popular with families.

Common questions about living in Queen Creek, AZ
Is Queen Creek, AZ a good place to live?
Queen Creek appeals to buyers who want newer homes, larger lots and a small-town feel within reach of the rest of the East Valley. Commutes can be longer than from Gilbert or Mesa, so it's worth test-driving your route at rush hour.
Can I find horse property in Queen Creek?
Yes. Queen Creek has rural and equestrian areas with larger lots, and it's home to Horseshoe Park & Equestrian Centre. Zoning and animal rights vary by parcel, so I verify them for every property. Search the map by lot size to start.
Is Queen Creek in Maricopa or Pinal County?
Both. Most of the town is in Maricopa County, and part of it is in Pinal County. The county affects property taxes and some services, so we check it for each address.
Should I buy new construction or resale in Queen Creek?
It depends on your timeline, budget and how much you want to customize. New builds offer warranties and modern layouts; resale homes are often on more mature lots and can move faster. My new construction guide covers how to compare them.
What schools serve Queen Creek?
Queen Creek Unified School District serves much of the town, with Higley Unified and several charter schools serving other areas. Boundaries change, so always confirm the assigned schools for a specific address with the district.
How do I find out what my Queen Creek home is worth?
Start with a free home value estimate. Because many Queen Creek buyers also tour new builds, I'll follow up with a market analysis that accounts for that competition.
